“Blame It On The Boogie”

The Jacksons, "Blame It On The Boogie" (1978)

Hello all, I was so inspired by Door Sixteen blog post that I needed to share. It is so amazing how “Blame It On The Boogie” instantly puts a smile on my face. It has put me in a better mood and I am going to try to make it last the rest of the day week! Thanks Door Sixteen for the inspiration; I am 100% boogieing in my head.

Water for Elephants

I have been reading Water for Elephants over the last couple weeks and am loving it. The writing is absolutely magical! I am so excited to go see the movie. I am one of those people…who just has to read the book first and will for sure say “I thought the book was better,” but I cant help myself….I have to do it anyways!

Actors Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon attend the premiere of “Water For Elephants” at The Ziegfeld Theater, in New York, on Sunday, April 17, 2011 Via here

Happy Friday

Lately I have been longing for summer. This image from Haven and Home has me dreaming of an outdoor movie after a long day of playing in the sun.

Dear Summer,

I don’t know what I did, but I miss you. Please come back!

New Artist I found

I am currently in the process of some spring home renovations. One of projects on my “to do” list is to paint my bedroom. I have decided on grey; easy, simple, and will go with my current bedspread. To even-out the dark grey I need a light, romantic, simple painting to bring a brightness to the room. Here are some of my favorites by an artist I found on Etsy Leigh Viner

This is an original piece that I am in LOVE with!

This one is so Carrie Bradshaw; it is the hat/hair piece/splash of color!

So feminine; simple beauty!

Small Touch of Beauty

Being that I am a “little” A type personality… I love to be organized. I found these hand-painted stripe pattern trays on Things That Sparkle. You can find the designer on Esty at Tilly Maison

Things That Sparkle is doing a giveaway for one of these amazing trays. Enter. Good luck!

Art meets Chair and it was love at first sight!

Here are some amazing paintings by Joie De Vivre

I have that Marc Chagall Print in my home. I have always been inspired by the way he depicted magic and love.

This one reminds me of my Flea Market Find

Lastly,  Jackie O the queen of elegance and style

Art Attack

One of my best friends Gannon Weeks will be showing at Art Attack in Georgetown on Saturday. Art and a Trailer Park….I am there!

Here is some of Gannon’s work:

Anyone know the girl in the middle? It’s me 🙂
